How To Save Money at the Gas Pump

 Save on Gas Prices Today!

If you are looking to save gas, you can start by getting comparable prices in your area.

Go to  www.GasBuddy.com to find the lowest gas prices  in your area.  You can even get alerts on your mobile phone.

You will be directed  variable prices in your area and hopefully, prices you can live with.

Because I live in New Jersey, I was directed to www.NewJerseyGasPrices.com site.

There I found it offered a Gas Price Heat Map, trip cost calculator, fuel log book, gas price chart, and a contest for you win a gas card and there are fuel tips.

I believe you can enter the contest everyday.

If you check the prices everyday, you will be set to go!  Gassing up for the week is a wonderful idea because you  get a large sum of gas for a reasonable price.

While you are saving gas, you can use your GPS to find the shortest distance to get from place to place especially when you have gone just one way before. The difference in your savings on gas can really add up on a mile to mile advantage
.

So be smart and always think outside of the box of how you can alter your routines to save money.

The efficiency of your car, the size of your car, and your  travel routines all impact how much you save and spend.

Try using one car if someone in your family is going in the same direction. Even if one of you could take the bus home one day a week, the savings can add up.  The money you save can be used on a vacation for the family or a new appliance or even for birthday and holiday gifts.

Keeping your car tuned up and a scheduled oil check does wonders to the efficiency of your car as well as tire rotations.   Your car manual will give you many schedules of what is to be checked and when.

I hope you enjoyed this article and that it refreshed you mind about saving gas.
